The Brocken is the highest mountain in Germany aside from the Alps. I climbed this moutain with Cindy and in the process got to eat some delicious pea soup and admire the coal powered train trucking up and down the mountain. This moutain was closed to the public during the Cold War as the mountain was an outpost for Russian soldiers, who controlled the border crossing between East and West Germany from above. After the 6 hour trek we went back to Cindy's where we had a great BBQ.
The next day saw me back in Berlin where I went to my favourite kebab shop and watched some karaoke in Mauer Park. A nice weekend that went by too fast!!!!!!!!!
