The Festival!!!My German Gang - Cafe before festivities. Thanx for making my trip a blast!
Last day -
My how times flies when you are having fun! It has been action packed vacation. My time here has been great, eye opening and I now know that I was born to be euro trash LOL - I had the best time, met the nicest people, had my first espresso and went to the mothership of H & M.
Chaqa was a great hostess, showed me what I needed to get along on my own. Forever Grateful.
Our day started out with showers and and a short walk to brunch. We a has a great all you can eat buffet for 9 Euro's. Then we continued on to Rudolph Platz for a cafe, waiting for the right time to meet up with my parade. Can you believe that 1000's of people came out, even threw a parade in my honor. It just like home! NOT.
It was a total coinsidence that my trip ended on pride weekend - however like that saying goes - if you've seen one, you've seen them all. It was interesting but after about 2 hours - we were done - it actually went on until 6:30 p.m. at which
The gang - Nicole, David, Clause, Poncho & Chaqa -
time they promptly started cleaning, most impressive!
This made for a very, very long last day. At one point I was zoning out - abby (my stomach) was letting me know it had missed 2 feeding! After Chaqa left for work and the others scattered - Claus, David and I went to have a drink and find some dinner - after some intelligent conversation - we headed over to this fantastic Indian restaurant. It was off the hook and my "not so inner" food whore was quite happy.
After dinner, Claus parted and David and I walked back to the apartment - he lived around the corner from Chaqa. Time seem to fly and my feeling like a tourist had long since left. Then I was left alone and waited for Chaqa to return from work - once he got in bed he was like talk to me in your low voice - it puts me to sleep - not sure if that was a compliment or not - but I am taking it as one!
Before he dozed off he said - Terry, when I die have them put on my tombstone - CHAQA - Too
Much Woman for one Country!!! That just about sums it up! My photo's say more than I ever could. Thank you for viewing!
Till the next time,
Travlin Terry
The police...How Ironic they stop right in front of me....flashbacks to Costa Rica!
