Finally a workday, and our priority is to make it to a bigger town where they will have a decent bike shop to check the integrity of the damaged wheel. We cycle on the main road towards Krakow am See which already has fast big traffic until Bussow, where we take a detour east along the coast of the the lake towards Möllen. At Bussow is a farm with a two crates of fresh cucumbers and zucchini and a can for you to drop your donation on the side of the road, and we pick out a couple of cucumbers for lunch. In Krakow am See we do not succeed to find a bike shop, so we set our sights on Güstrow. Again we have a pleasant cycle through forests and past pastoral land. In Güstrow the tire is deemed good enough for this trip, but ultimately it will have to be replaced, and my bike light is finally firmly fixed. We also raid the local bio shop. There is no

camping in Güstrow, however, so we continue to Bützow along the canal. The campground is great: it is small and comfortable, with a tiny pier to the lake, and with a little cart selling beer, wine, and bread in the morning.
