ok so here's the deal... im writing this blog in thailand, where i am for the next 2 days for the thai new year aka the water festival, and it's absolutely amazing... complete madness in the streets with thousands of people armed with super soakers.... unbelievable fun. anyways, the point is, ths blog is going to be very short for that reason, and basically bc there is not much to say abotu frankfurt. one day in the city would have been enough for sure, 4 was extreme overkill. everyone, including the locals say that theres nothing to do there. myself and some people i met in the hostel, half jokingly refered to it as the extended airport lounge because ALL of us staying there were just killing time before we flew out of europe. the city was cool to wander for a day... def, not as interesting as the other cities ive vistied so it was kinda boring. one cool thing about it though was that it was a modern city built up right in the old city.. so you have huge skyscrapers towering over old german buildings... cool... iguess. anyways, i made the best of my time for sure, dusty and i met these CRAZY spanish girls who drank more than dust and i combined probobly, and for the rest of the time i kept getting talked into going out with them, as well as some other people i met at the hostel.
also on saturday i went to the most bizzar flee market ive ever seen, i swear to god, in the same stand some guy was selling used car exaust pipes, computer mother boards, an un-opend-still-in-the-box atari system, and a taxadermied ferret... no joke. the weirdest thing there though was def this taxadermied goat foot and calf with an ashtray glued to the top... strange. im sure ths is only the beginning though...
anyways, thats about it for frankfurt... right now im in bangkok, got in yesterday and leave tommorow for nepal until the 2nd of may.... with all the things going on over there, it should be very interesting.. a little scary but, dont worry about me, im defidnetly steering clear of the protests/riots.
alright... its back out into the madness for me, hopefully i can get some pics for you guys of all this, im really apprehensive to bring my camara out in the streets bc its impossible not to be drenched from head to toe within 2 min of stepping onto the street. hope everyone is well back home. rory... out.

Just outside of Kathmandu, there's a buddist monestary called Kopan. You can hike there, but I'm lazy so I would take a taxi! There are the most unbelievable views of the whole Kathmandu valley. It's so beautiful and wonderful people.
