We left Saskatoon on time at 1:30 PM heading for Calgary and a 3 hour wait for our connecting flight. So, what do you do in an airport when you have 3 hours to kill? You eat!
Fortunately, Calgary airport has a Chili's...
The 9.5 hours flight to Germany was uneventful. Although our Boeing 767 was equipped with the latest "on demand" entertainment system. Erin read through an entire book while Pat watched National Treasure before dozing off for a bit.
Our luggage was one of the first to come out and, just like on our previous visit, German Customs was remarkably lax, maybe they just like our faces? Whatever the reason, they just asked where we were off too and stamped the passports.
Once we got to my uncle's house, we ate, of course. Then a quick visit to my grandma's and Erin was out like a light by 7:30 PM. Pat then went for a quick bicycle ride with his Uncle before eating again. Damn these Germans and their bread!
Tomorrow, Erin and I will head into Frankfurt on our own to explore. Then we are off to the former East Germany for a
couple of days.

Enjoy some beer and Bratworst for me. I miss you both already. The weather is rainy and shit so you aren't missing much.
We haven't even had any Bratwurst yet. Too busy with the bakeries that you find every 100 meters here...
