Oh, wie spannend! Am Donnerstag haben wir die Kontaktdaten unserer Gastfamilie erhalten. Entgegen unseren Befürchtungen sind wir nicht auf einem Bauernhof, sondern in einer grünen Vorstadtgegend untergebracht.
Unsere "host parents" sind in unserem Alter und haben zwei kleine Kinder. Das Profil klingt schonmal prima.

Heute haben wir unsere erste wichtige englische Mail geschrieben: Kontaktaufnahme!

Nun bloß keinen Fehler machen / oder erst recht jedes Fettnäpfchen mitnehmen. So sorgfältig haben wir selten an einer Mail formuliert um gutes Klima zu schaffen...

Jetzt sind wir mal gespannt auf die Rückantwort!
