Hotellissa oli runsas aamupala. Kun kävelin asemalle, ilmeni että oli peruttu se junavuoro, johon olin ostanut ennakkoon lipun. Kävin lipputoimistossa varmistamassa, että pääsin sillä lipulla matkustamaan Berliiniin toiselle junalla. Lopulta en myöhästynyt paljonkaan alkuperäsestä aikataulusta. Junassa oli hyvin tilaa, ja se juna pysähtyi myös Zoolla, joten pääsin nopeammin hotellille, kuin olisin päässyt alkuperäisellä junalla, joka olisi ajanut päärautatieasemalla pysähtymättä välillä. Zoolla kesti hetken löytää oikea laituri, varsinkin kun metrossa oli poikkeusliikenne ja poikkeuslinja. Hotellissa sai palvelua suomeksi: respassa työskentelevän miehen äiti on suomalainen. Hissi ei toiminut sinä päivänä, joten matkalaukku piti kantaa neljä kerrosta ylös. Kävin jo katsomassa, mistä löytyy automaattipesula, jota käyttäisin huomenna. I woke up and ate breakfast. Don had gone to the store and gotten some croissants and I used Dennis’s honey butter. That stuff was really good. Susan walked to the store to get her and I a coke light. Ahhh some caffeine. We packed and headed to the airport in two rounds. Dennis drove half of us over and then went back and got the rest of the gang. Dennis and ViNi joined us for the Berlin portion of the trip. This was our gift to them. Haaalóóó! Ismét Berlinből jelentkezik a csapat, a hétvége szuperül telt, megérkezés, lazázás, zuhogó eső, YogaRaumba való befészkelődés,a régi etetőink végignézése (szudáni NIL aki római köményes fekete magos falafelt süt sivatagi mantrákkal az ajkain, a baghdadi süteményes, akitől fél kiló olyan sütit vettünk, hogy még most sem tudjuk mi volt benne, de már kezdünk ocsúdni:) Görlitzer park a kis rózsabokros patakocskáival, csalitosaival, focipályáival, ahol a jövő nemzedék edződik a proaktív futballban, vadszőlővel befuttatott házak,szemüveges disznók a kirakatban, gyönyörű falfestmények: szóval barangolás közben ez jutott leginkább az eszünkbe, hogy pesten miért minden vagy hipertüchtig vagy gallyralelakott: hol az átmenet? The flight was pretty good all in all. We got seats together, and it didn't seem to take too long at all. We managed to get through security with our sharp implements not being detected but you will be pleased to know we didn't need to use them. Never imagined that travelling with 6 children would be so easy!! The grown ups even got to read their books on the plane! We got to travel through Germany on a road that Hitler built...... read more
