Martin, Dave, Patrick and Rick attack the Beerfest
We got the mid morning express train to Berlin and arrived in the German capital around 3pm. Took the bus and arrived at the Odyssee hostel, the best hostel in the world IMO!! This is my 4th time at this hostel and my 4th visit to the Berlin International Beerfestival. Same dorm, same bed but always a different crowd here.
We did a bit of a walking tour of Berlin taking in all the sights. Alexanderplatz, Unter Der Linen, Tiergarten, Potzdamer Platz, Brandenburg Gate, Checkpoint Charlie and the preparation of the Beer fest on Karl Marx Allee. Wunderbar!! After all that walking it was beer and dinner time.
The next morning we were awaiting the arrival of Martin, Dave and the Groom Patrick. They arrived around 11am so a perfect time to start drinking at the beerfest! The weather was a little dull but the beer and entertainment made up for that no probs!
On the Saturday, we all decided to hire some bikes a tour flat Berlin the best way possible. We all apologise for ringing our bells and squeaking our squeaky things whilst most Berliners were trying enjoy their

After working a thirst, the Beerfest was calling for the rest of the day. And it was good :D
Our last full day, Beer, Beer, Beer and the Vaso Party Band. Great stuff, then back to the hostel for a few more drinks until the sun came up.
Ah, Berlin. Possibly my favourite city in Europe. So much to see and do, so easy to get around, so clean and so much beer! Contary to belief, the Germans really know how to have a good time. I well defo be back again and again!
