Munich

I Flew into Munich from Melbourne after 2, 2 hour stopovers in Malaysia and Amsterdam.
Stayed at Euro Youth Hostel which is about a 2 minute walk from the main trainstation. Munich was covered in snow, wasnt as cold as i thought it would be but....still cold. Every night in munich was spent drinkin with 2 irish lads, 2 canadian lads, and another aussie and some other randoms that would come join in.. would begin our drinkin at the beer halls, where we would have quite a few steins (1L glasses of beer) and some german food. then eventually make our way back to the hostel where the beers were cheaper and have few more there... then we'd wonder out to some bars or somewhere to drink, one place we went to had 30 clubs in the one area... there we went to 2 different clubs and they were both crap and a ripp off to get into, so we staggered back to the hostel slippin over a few times, singin songs, peltin each other with snow, fightin, then grabbin a late night kebab..
Durin the day filled in the time buy goin a walkin tour of munich which was interestin and it was free it went for a few hours and took you to all the main sights , a third reich tour which covered some of the same ground of the free walkin tour and wasnt free it was ok but in short.. 10 euros waisted, also to a 3 in 1 muesuem which was half decent considerin i hate meuziums had all diferent stuff in there, fighter planes, boats and cool stuff you could press a button and it would do somthin like spin around or a light would flash killed the bordem anyway.. , and going to the Englisher Garten destroyin snowmen, throwing snow at ducks and throwing snow into the river , all in one of the largest city parks in europe. The rest of the time was spent not far from the hostel away from the blizard playin many hours of monopoly, talkin crap, enjoyin alcholic beverages, goin to get kebabs, bratwurst or pizza, passin by beggers that would kneel in the freezin snow all day and into the night. and listenin to a little 14 year old black kid, there with his dad tell us how gangster he is and how many transit bitch girlfriends he had and trying to keep him from light the hairs on our arms on fire... quite a character.
Overall Munich was one of my favourite city's, alot of fun,theres plenty of good beer, its compact and not very hectic, still has the historical look ,theres lots of good beer,spent alot of money in munich and theres lots of good beer there and germans themselves dont live up to there stereo type of having no sence of humour, i like them there cool.. and they make good beer..
ill be back there in the next few years to get blind at oktoberfest. and drink there good beer
