After a disappointing drive through of Frieburg we travelled through amazing
Scenery to Triberg the home of cuckoo clocks and Germany's largest waterfall.
Left the boys to do the long walk up the hill back to the car park. Came across a swimming lake with inflatables so stayed night as weather now in mid 30s.
Next day left Black Forest and made it to lake Constance in Meersbug. Stopped for lunch and stroll around old town. Slow journey to Lindau but found a campsite by lake. Nice swim but midgets are a pain in evening.
Glad there's no border control as route passed into Austria. Decided to allow motorways on satnav so drove through some long tunnels and quicker trip. Fussen very busy. Went straight to castle Neuschwanstein. Had to wait nearly 4 hours for english tour. Amazing building and views of mountains and lake
Had first bbq tonight. One to remember as tropical storm with thunder and lightning hit suddenly.
