Le Grau-d’Agde

The day had an exciting start! When parking on our pitch the night before I noticed that we were on soft sand filling. On starting off today the wheels spun and dug into the sand. We were stuck! The campsite owners tried to get us out using plastic tracks but to no avail. So the girl on reception called her father who turned up in a small van that had seen better days. He appeared to be the local handyman. He proceeded to jack up the front wheels, insert the tracks under them and then tow us out of the hole.

All that took the whole morning so we went into the local resort of le Grau-d’Agde where we had an excellent fish lunch in one of the restaurants followed by a paddle in the Med.



We drove a few miles inland and stayed on a favourite France passion wine domaine Morin-Langaran. We last stayed there two years ago.
