Granville’s 15th century walled high town is built on a narrow peninsular with the sea on three sides and in the morning we had a delightful walk along some of the walls and through its narrow cobbled streets.

The afternoon was spent working our way along the coast and having increasingly close views of Mont-St-Michel which we intend to visit tomorrow.

The night was spent in a pleasant british owned campsite in the small village of Pontaubault.
