Hi everyone.....finally; an internet cafe...the keys on this are different so this is going to be slow. It rained the first 4 days I was here so much of the longer hikes were put on hold. Susans place is great but i have to get used to the quiet and being in a small town....the fall is very quiet here and with the rain, everything was closed up pretty much and no one was around: Despite the rain; I have ventured out to the castle in Carcassonne; went to the Gorges of Galamus....(they were amazing). ..did a wine tour in Portel de Corbierres and yesterday in a quest for sun, drove to Barcelona....finishing the day with a wonderful meal...warm goat cheese salad and duck confit...yummy. Today was the beach and will hopefully catch up with the guy who makes pizzas to order tonight back in
