Dover-Paris-Lauterbrunnen-Nice/Cannes

Its been a crazy few days! Been traveling on this Topdeck tour since the 13th and have seen far too much, but its been great fun thus far.

Left for the tour on the 13th- left London for Paris, via the ferry at Dover. Saw the White Cliffs- which were quite pretty. It was quite a choppy ride.

Got to Paris and did a night lights tour- Paris is just so beautiful. The architecture is simply stunning. The following day we toured Paris- climbed the Eiffel Tower (my fear of heights was in full swing, especially on the lifts, but it was well worth it for the views- amazing!!!) Then we went to the Louvre- saw Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo and some egyptians relics. Then off to the Notre Dame- awesome! Loved the gargoyles (sp?). Then to the Arc de Triumph- there was a parade of retired servicemen and women which was interesting to see. Then off to Paradis Latin for a Cabaret show- which was amazing/ funny/ random. Parisian men are the biggest flirts! Got offered a kiss by a waiter, which I turned down. I plan to return to Paris too see more of the sights (and maybe a kiss- just kidding. lol)

Then off to Lauterbrunnen at the base of the Swiss Alps. Words cannot describe the beauty! The air was also amazing- so clean. Went up the Jungfrau which was breathtaking (both in sight and also in altitude- it was really hard to breathe up there.) So many cute chalets and cows/goats with bells... too cute!

Currently in Nice... went by train to Cannes today, where the Cannes film festival is on- so the place was just buzzing. Didn't see anyone famous, except for some guy that everyone was taking pictures of, but I have no idea who he is.

Went to Monaco- saw the Grand Casino, and also preparations for the Grand Prix... which was exciting. Saw lots of yatchs and cruise boats.
