Landed safely at Dunkerque with the sleeping giant which is Ronnie on a boat even managed to keep hold of mornings breakfast, result. We set off to Honfleur hoping to avoid all toll roads and see a bit of scenery and managed to hit them all. Need to plan this better.
Arrived at the Hotel Monet, Honfleur early evening. The place was high on a hill overlooking the town and an easy walk to the harbour. The receptionist spoke good English. The town is probably one of the oldest fishing towns I have ever seen with tiny cobble streets and wooden houses. We spent the next 2 days sightseeing, eating and drinking. Perfect really if only it wasn't so cold. Brilliant sunny days but freezing.
