Well, we have been home over a month now, and have begun to edit our photos - so far we are down by two thirds from 3000 to 1000! Don't worry, we wouldn't post them all, but we thought you might like to see a few.
These are from our first days in France. (July 17-19), which we spent with our friends in Deauville and visiting the D-Day beaches and American cemetery.
Pegasus Bridge
Jeff and Dean walk across Pegasus bridge, an important bridge won by the Allies on D-day.
Arromanches
Jeff, Cyndi and Dean on the beach at Arromanches where the allies built an artificial harbor by sinking ships.
Deauville
Dean stands in front of the home of our friends Eric and Sabine in Deauville. It is across the road from the beach.

Cyndi and Dean on the boardwalk in Deauville. It is windy, so no one is sunning under the parasols.

Jeff drives through the streets of Honfleur. It's almost as nerve-racking as the Burren!
Honfleur marina
Eric and Sixtine take us on a tour of Honfleur's marina. We get caught in a downpour minutes from now.
Cliffs of Veules
We arrive in Veules that evening, we walk down to the cliffs to see the beach. It's a bit cold to swim.
