So, I’m in France. And it’s the best. The little piece that I am seeing is perfect. (Which is what I always expected France to be.) We’re in a mountain village nestled amongst the Les Deux Alpes, home to the best glacier in Europe, according to Enrico, and some of the most challenging riding conditions—Le Tour de France riders travel through these streets! (In one of my dad’s emails he relayed a message he had shared with my mom—“If that little shit sees any of the Tour, I’m gonna be so pissed!!!” Well, fortunately for him, the tour is over.) I wouldn’t dare attempt to ride these windy mountain suicide cliffs but I’ve seen a few brave souls pushing themselves to the limits—up the hills it looks like they’re moving backwards, and quickly.
