Drove down to the local market, knowing we would come back loaded with goodies. As expected, the produce was direct from farmers and very fresh. Bought lemons that looked as if they had just come off the tree! No pesticides, so farmer said we could eat the skins too. I was drooling over the different mushrooms, tomatoes, avocadoes, fresh basil; etc. Even the potqtoes we bought still had earth on them. Then to the local buthcer to buy a piece of steak. The butcher cut off 2 gigantic ribs from a roast. That night we barbecued and Robin Made a ratatouille. Anita made a scalloped potato dish in the oven. The local wine helped it all go down too.
