DOUCHE-bags

So sorry this blog is kind of backlogged but whatever you’ll deal . So yesterday we went to Monaco, which is pretty much France’s Puerto Rico. It was so beautiful. We saw all of the huge houses and YACHTS…omg they were huge (…that’s what she said). But I could only dream of owning those boats (Money talks and Mandy walks ).
So we then had to climb to the top of the mountain. When I say top of the mountain I mean top of the Alpes…it was a monster of a hill (I’m trying not to use profanity to describe it lol). But anyway we walked like thirty minutes to the top just to see the palace and the changing of the guard. Really it was no different than Buckingham Palace but whatever. We walked around and got jipped with buying goods, can you believe I payed like 18 american dollars for a pizza? WTF?!?! Lol
After that we tried to get in a casino…unsuccessful…apparently you have to be 18. So then we sat and ate gelato for like two hours before walking all the way to the train station. Then we just came home and chilled.
The night before that was the fourth of July and we went to see Narnia 2: Le Prince Caspian. It wasn’t at a movie theater, it was at an old castle that sits upon a hill over looking the water in Villefranche sur le Mer. It was spectacular (I’m really getting sick of saying b-e-a-utiful lol). I was shocked that I understood what each of the characters were saying, it was just like watching it in English but I was even more shocked to see fireworks. I expected no one would even care about the fourth of July, but apparently only an ass assumes and I was wrong.
So over the course of the week two girls got drunk and another was apparently sexually harassed so the hostel was deemed unfit for us students. But atleast we got to move to a hotel!...a two star hotel…once again no AC but its whatever, we are now in the middle of downtown. My new roommates are Carolina and Erika and its jawesome (…yes I just said it).
So (I start a ton of stuff with “so”, I apologize) it is raining right now…and know it all, tell me what time I have to go to bed said we were in a drought season and that it never rains. Well Copernicus was wrong and its pouring so I thought about wearing my Boys like Girls shirt but I befriended a gay guy from Amsterdam and I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t know it was the band.
But we have been in the hotel now for a night and I think I have gotten over having to use public restrooms. It may seem small, but it was a giant step! You wouldn’t understand. Also, it was hot as hades! I slept in my bathing suit, not birthday. So in France showers are called “douches”, so since we use public bathrooms we have our shower bags and thus we call them douchebags lol.
You better check yo’self before you wreck yo’self…

So today was pretty average, well atleast the day part and then tonight we finally went clubbing!
A;lskjd;alkjdf;ag (yes that is how excited I was)…It was so much fun, we rented out a pub and had a dance party. Everyone was standing around and then the Americans, we, walked in and the party pretty much started. I’m pretty sure I danced with every minority possible, some black guy tried to kiss me that didn’t fly lol. Then I was teaching this Polish kid how to dance… he was just like “what is grinding?”…I replied “pretty much like sex on the dance floor…he laughed then danced. By far the worst dancers or most humorous have to be the Germans…just an FYI should you ever go clubbing in Germany. But yeah that was pretty much our night.
Get yo’self a Q-Tip!..

So one of the other girls who I roomed with before is Wonton, actually her name is Sheila but its an inside joke. Anyways, not only can she not see like the typical language, but she can’t hear. Wow I sound racist, but I swear I’m really not…
Today we had school, then it was pretty much a day of shopping and flunch. For lunch we went to McDonalds which was pretty much the same as in America, even the same type of staff work there (I’ll leave it at that). So besides that we had a scavenger hunt, it was pretty ballin’ although we didn’t win. I worked with a couple Americans, a Bulgarian, and two Turkeys? Turks…wow blonde moment.
