Wednesday 9th Istres to Draguignan Travelled through Marseilles (had intended to bypass it but somehow ended up going right through the old port - this was lucky because it was really worth seeing). Continued along the Cote D’Azur stopping off at the Carrefour on the edge of Toulon. The coast is pretty with beautiful turquoise sea but a bit too many villas for my taste. The coastal roads were very busy and the campsites (as we anticipated they might be - all full).
