Boo

Lack of posts in the last few days has been due to me not being well. Got ill on Tuesday with Renal Colic and Kidney Pains. Rob sorted me out with these tablets from the pharmacist and basically all I did for 3 days was sleep, only waking up to eat. Didn't even make it out the Gite at one point, Carol sent me down food and Rob looked after me. Was feeling a bit better by yesterday afternoon, went back to Champdenier to get more tablets but I haven't been taking them during the day as they put me out of the game but they are there if I need them.
Been painting the third shutter again today and it's almost done, should be finished on Monday. Carol and Keith are having new ceilings put up in some of the upstairs back rooms and a French Guy called Remmy is doing the work for them. Rob has been working with him for the last three days, Remmy doesn't speak English but Rob seems to be managing fine with the language difficulites and now knows all the French words for things like plasterboard, screwdriver, power drill etc!!! Not sure how usefull they will come in haha but you never know.
Carol went away to Paris this morning, she is away until Sunday afternoon with a friend to see a concert. I made lunch today, creamy mushrooms on toast.... think it turned out alright! Keith is doing dinner tonight, Sour Crout and German Sausages. Will be good, not had it since last time I was at the German Xmas Market in Edinburgh.
Ive been off the booze but I'm thinking I will treat myself to a couple of glasses tonight. Just two though, don't want to set my kidneys off again.
Tommorrow is a day off so no work though I think Rob is going to do some of his own work, he's on a deadline to clear a bonus so he has to get cracking to get the extra ££££. I'm Skyping oor Linzi tommorrow so that will be good. Like my weekly chat with her. Spoke to Mum and Dad on the phone yesterday for a wee while, they are fine, not missing me by the sounds of it!!!! They have no time to, got their hands full with Little Miss Dall who is running them ragged and causing a riot. Not sure what I will do tommorrow, I'm hoping it will be a decent day so I can go for a walk to see the Donkey!!!! want to get some pics of him.
