Supermarkets are my fav

We did general preparation for Noël today; went to the wonderful french supermaret U-March and after to town to look for presents. The supermarket was fabulous, lots of products in french with very yummy looking pictures. I was amazed at the fruit juice, did you know that in France you can buy raspberry, strawberry, kiwifruit etc juices? Like, just that flavour? It is crazy!! Also, they had Orangina, so Michel and Maryse bought two bottles, and also bought my absolute favourite yohgurt! It is difficult to explain, but we eat it plain with sugar. On the top, it is kind of like yohgurt mousse; really creamy and light, and delicious. I took the bus with Anne-Sophie into town to get some money from a western union banking transfer, but it turns out that they dont accept Student ID cards in Europe. I could have cried. Very emotional at that stage. Then Anne-Sophie, Benedict and a friend of theirs shopped for a bit. The main shopping are in Le Mans is called le Republic, and it really is a pleasure to shop in. Le Mans is a bit like Adelaide; every ten-fifteen mintures Anne-Sophie stops to kiss someone on the cheek twice and to introduce her correspondant. We came home to decorate the christmas tree, using modern art as a muse and literally throwing tinsel at the tree. After din-dins we went out to a bar, where VOLLEYBALL was playing on the screen. I couldn't believe it! I was glued to the screen for ages, and we left just as the game ended 3-0. We went to another bar, and having no money I kind of just sat. I feel really bad about the situation, because I was absolutley exhaused and nearly fell asleep, and the whole reason we were in town was to show me French culture. I am still really angry with myself about it. When we started to come home it was 0 degrees, so we sort of danced at the tram stop to keep warm.
