So in realistic terms a travel blog is meant to be used some what like a diary, writing daily updates of the current events, however with my blog Im failing to do so and using it (or should I say abusing it) as my stress reliever. It allows me to have a good rant, when something quite bizzare or down right horrible happens. I think Ill start with the true purpose of this blog and why I need to vent so much. A change of heart? The time has finally come for me to say goodbye to Millau and return home for Christmas. If you asked me a few weeks ago (maybe even a few days ago) I would have said good riddance, and that I was even contemplating never coming back. However I have had some what a change of heart. Don’t fall off your chairs it was bound to happen sooner or later. As I was getting ready to say goodbye to my apartment I realised just how lovely it was, and even though the door handles falling off and the heating is very temperamental I have learnt to call it home. Hey yooouuu guuuyyysss :) So courtney leaves for her european adventure tomorrow and ill be left all alone until the 17th when I can set off home :) finalement (finally) So on friday the 17th I will be leaving millau at 11.40 arrive in montpellier 14.05 catch the train at 15.45 arrive in paris 18.45. I will then be staying in a hotel that night near the station. My flight is at 14.45 on the 18th and I will touch down on Leeds turf at 15.15 home sweet home! I had relaxing weekend doing absolutley nothing! Apart from lesson plans and venturing out once for a bit of shopping and a hot chocolate :) saturday we had some snow but it had gone in a matter of hours, and was rather disappointing! I woke up monday morning with a cold :( I got up and walked to my favourite place in france trusty old lidl :) I went to go get a few supplies and it was nice to get out the house. I had a lesson at 5 so I set off to the lycee just after 4 as I needed to print off my worksheets for the lesson. So yet again my blog has been negelcted! Last week I didnt have a single lesson, monday I went for my only hour of the day only to be told that the teacher didnt need me. I had another hour on tuesday but christine had forgot to tell me the students were on work experience so I had no class again! Then wednesday onwards was another national holiday! Last week proved to be a rather dull week, it rained all the time! (Although im sure it was alot better than home! From tuesday to friday, Dan, an english assistant in the next town came to stay with us, however with the bad weather there wasnt a lot we could show him however it was nice to have some more company.
