Hello,

8/28 - We woke up early in Perpignon and caught the 8:40am to Carcassone (heading Northwest from Perpignon which is in the Southeast of France). This place had a cool medieval castle with a town inside - this included a decent size church as well. What I'm trying to say is, it was big and had a lot of stuff inside the walls. Our next train outta there was at 5:40pm so we used up some time playing the the park and going on a boat tour down a river. The river tour included some nice historical explanations and traversed a few locks. I think it was my first time going through a lock on such a small scale?
