Hi all. Been a busy couple of days. Did the London Eye our last day in London - fantastic views for miles.

Left London on Monday and caught the Eurostar to Paris. Ali managed to get us on the wrong train - we wondered why we were the only ones on the train! Our first stuff up so not too bad! After getting on the right one arrived in Paris 2 hours later. Completely different from London and not what we thought! Got ripped off by Taxi driver, €40 ($65) for a 10 minute drive! Hotel very quant but so small - had to turn luggage in sideways to get through the door!

Weather been extremely hot - in early thirties! Have visited Notre Dame and got to see another church service. Yesterday caught a hop on hop off boat that goes down the river Seine. Went round the Paris Zoo - fascinating. Went to the Louvre but shut so couldn't go through. Walked on to view the Arc de Triomphe and then finished up at the Eiffel Tower. Huge crowds there so didn't get to climb it - might go back today.

Had an amazing French meal last night- including snails. Lots of great cheeses but our wine at home better.

Ali likes the French men and she met a nice one yesterday. His name was "monkey" and he lives at the zoo. Megan thought it would be funny to send you all a photo of him. As you can see he liked her too lol!

Off to Rome tomorrow. Will blog when there. Love to all.
