It was great to finally catch up with Damien and Emily as i missed them last time i was in Paris. It was a nice reward after a boring as 12.5 hour bus ride from Munich!

Once i met up with Damien and Emily, we went for a quick drink at the pub that damo had been working at. It was great to see where he had been working while staying in paris.

After that we went back to his apartment. It was awesome! sure it was small but it was a little slice of heaven. right in the centre of paris, an unbelievable location!! The next day we slept in which was a real luxury for me, then went out to do one of the two touristy things i still hadnt done in paris, Notre Dame. This church was something special. So intricate and detailed. I know understand how a church itself can become so famous.

A lot of the 4 days i spent with damien in paris was spent walking around and seeing the other side of paris. a side that you have to be shown by someone who has lived there. One night we had an awesome dinner at Emilies, sisters, partners resteraunt. It was a very nice meal, possibly the best ive had since being in europe.

The other touristy place we visit was the sacre coure. the busabout guides had warned us all about the big black guys at the bottom of the sacre coure, they forcfully grab you and tie bracelets around your wrist and demand you pay an outrageous amount for them, but honestly you have to see it for yourself. They are really full on and i must admit it really affects the amount you enjoy the beautiful church.

Basically our other nights were fairly tame until our last night when Damien and I both fell victim to the temptation of free drinks so when i got up at 6.45am for my bus to Lauterbrunnen, i was feeling very sorry for myself. However all in all, i had an awesome time in Paris, it really is a magical city.
