I can't believe I'm really here. It all feels so surreal!! I have wanted to come here all my life, and I'm NOT exaggerating.
I got in last night at about 7pm. My friend Haran picked me up at Gard du Nord. these damn French keyboards are so annoying because they have so many extra characters!!!
Anyways, my hostel is really nice, more on the hotel range. After dropping off my luggage, Haran took me put for a 3 course French meal and I ate food that I don't know the names for and I can't really pronounce even if I did know. I was stuffed!!
Paris is B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L, and I havent even seen all of it yet. I'm getting frustrated though cuz no one knows English, I knew I should have paid attention in French class.
The Eurostar from London was great! It was only 50 quid and it took about 3 hours and it was a very peaceful ride and takes you right to the heart of Paris. I can't get over how cheap it is to travel within Europe.
I went to the opera building today. It is so gothic and beautiful!! I seriously want
to get married there, it is so perfect and very classic!!!
Before going to L'Opera, I got escorted to Sacre Couer by a random Algerian named Salim who knew no English. He vanished once we got to the church; wierd. But Paris is filled with strange yet friendly people, but I think I need to be more cautious.

iv always wantd 2 go but so far i havnt had the chance!
Canada is awesome!! That's why I get homesick while travelling from time to time. I'm from Toronto and have yet to explore the rest of the country. You should definetly trek on over, I don't know too many people who have ever had a bad experience in Canada.
