It's a short blog entry today. The pictures do the talking.

We ventured out into a fine but very cold Paris day to head towards Marne la Vallee and the Disneyland Park. It took about 45 minutes to get there and, apart from the chilly wind, we had a fantastic day at the park on rides, watching parades and meeting Mickey Mouse.

The only excitement, or adventure, came on our last ride for the day. We were 3 quarters of the way through the Thunder Mountain Railroad, with Emily screaming and in tears, when it came to a very sudden and abrupt stop. About 30 minutes later we were walking under the ride to get out, following a park attendant who kept reminding us that photos and video were not allowed...

As the mademoiselle who came to free us said "Il y avait un BOOM!, et il a cessé de fonctionner

Enough said.

I Loved Disneyland!
Hi Robyn, It's Emily here. I had a great time and went on the train ride around the park. I went on a really fast ride and it went sideways a lot of times and it stopped half way through. We looked around the shops at Disneyland. I also got an autograph book and got Daisy Duck's, Minnie Mouse's, and Mickey Mouse's autographs and a photo with them. I also got a photo with Goofy and one of the Chipmunks. Love you. From Emily.

Welcome to France
Cher Familie Beltrami, Bienvenue a belle France. I will continue this post in that most detestable of languages namely "English". Really what have the English ever done for us? We must return to the topic at hand though as this is a celebration of your good fortune in being in the best country in the world. Even that atrocity Americain is improved because it is in France. Drink in the air, partake of the sights, hear the smells and sniff the views. It is all a multi sensorial feast before you. It is with a tear in the eyes that I read of your excellent treatment by the good people of Paris. That you have finally realised that you are French in spirit if not (yet) citizenry lifts my little heart. I look forward with much anticipation for the next instalment in your adventures mes amis. Pourquoi êtes-vous si en colère?
Thiery, you need to become more tolerant. Your views are extreme and nationalistic. Typically of a proud Frenchman, I suspect, but probably not well received outside of your country. You need to take a long hard look at yourself and be humble about the deeds of your forefathers that have gifted you the country you claim to belong to.
