Authentic French Food at Steve's HouseAuthentic French Food at Steve's HouseAuthentic French Food at Steve's House

This was a traditional recipe from Reunion Island, a French territory East of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean. This is where Steve's father and Brother live. Left to Right: Josh, Jennifer a friend of Steve, Alexis- Steve's Nephew, Vanessa- Steve's Sister, Steve! (Alicia is taking the photo, and Steve's other sister Nathalie is probaly in the kitchen)
We spent 4 nights with Steve and his family and from the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were amazed at how kind and generous they were to us. We were literally not allowed to lift a finger, as every meal was prepared for us and the cleaning up was taken care of, despite trying to insist that we could help! We were driven around everywhere and shown all the sights. More importantly though, they were all such great company, and we cant wait 'till they come to Australia, so we can repay their kindness! We had such a wonderful time in Mantes, and its all because of Steve and his family. We simply can't thank them enough!

They couldn't believe that we never see burnt out cars in Australia, so they drove us round so we could see one. It didn't take long for us to find this one!

We went shopping with Steve and his sister Nathalie. French Supermarkets make Coles & Woolworths look like corner stores.
