After a long night in Luxembourg spending hours on the phone trying to organise internet through his mobile, craig was fed up with Luxembourg - he had a job due to send off that he had completed but simply could not send through. So tired and frustrated, Kellie and Craig did a whirlwind tour of Lux before shooting off as soon as possible to get to Reims in search of internet.

Getting into Reims was a crazy experience. Due to a stadium being built where a road use to be, TomTom got very confused and therefore we got very lost. But a very kind old french man saw we were lost and approached our campervan. Not speaking a word of english, only using gestures and repetition, he explained how to get back around the stadium and back towards where the camp ground was. We didnt even know where the camp ground was to begin. His directions turned out to be perfect, and he was very very kind and helpful - he even ran accross the block that we were driving around, to the other side to make sure we got there OK, and was waving and giving us the

thumbs up as we drove past him on the main road on the way to the camp ground.

Arriving at the campground was a another helpful man, who when he saw us arrive, since he worked in the complex we were trying to get into, made a call, got the security code from the front boom gate and let us in. We drove around this funny building to find 10 or so car parks that were designated campervan parks - TOTALLY FREE. No electricity or water of course, but a place to stay the night none the less (we have gas and battery to help us get through the night with lights etc). At first we could not work out what this place was - it wasnt a camp ground..so what was it. We thought perhaps a community centre? But we soon discovered it was like a youth hostel, next to a comedy theatre. We went into the hostel building to find out where we could get internet so Craig could do his work, and Kellie do a few blogs...she said we could in their foyer, plug into their power point, gave us a code for the internet...and it

was FREE! Who says nothing comes for free! then when kellie had a postcard to post, the lady not only offered to post it for her, she offered to stamp it to send to Australia...FREE. Its amazing what nice people you can find!

So Reims was a totally hassle free(once we got there) FREE accomdation, FREE internet, FREE everything! Just crazy.
we got a very restful night ready for our Pommery Champagne winery tour the next day.
