Day 6 of cycling - Blois-Tours

today was the last day of my cycling trip. it was 70kms and i was cycling from Blois - Tours. i left the hotel around 9am this morning. it was a beautiful, balmy summers day, not a breath of wind or a cloud in the sky, it stayed thaat way for the entire day and it must have reached at least 30 as it was sweltering. so i biked through quite a few small villages, arms and alongside the river till i got to Amboise at around 11.30 when i got there i went and had a look at the Chateau and its grounds, it was a beautiful chateau, not big but still amazing. i spent a good hour and a half there having a look, i then decided to have some lunch before heading on my way. i left Amboise at around 2 and went through a couple of small villages but mostly through farmland and a wee bit of forest and then along the cycle route that lead to tours alongside tthe river. it was a beautiful ride and hot, so i have a nice wee tan. there was no more stops untill Tours. i arrived in Tours around 4.30 then biked around the town for about half an hour before going to my hotel. it was great to have a slightly coolish shower to refreash myself. i then headed out and had an ice-cream the time seemed to pass and it was dinner time. i had a wonderful meal at the hotel resteraunt, 3 course and it was delish. although i am very much missing my mums homemade meals of meat and 3vege as they dont seem to do too many vege with there meals generally only potatoe. after that up to my hotel room to catch up on everything internet as haven't had all week except for about 5 min, then it will be off to bed ready for Paris tomorrow
