Today started off well. Now that we have internet, that means I now have Skype. So, I thought I would try it out with my phone card that Sarah got me (I'm glad it finally came in handy). I called Mom and Dad this morning when I knew they would be awake, because they're nuts and wake up at 5:30. ; ) Mom answered because for some reason she knew it had to be me. It was great to hear their voices! Not going to lie, cried like a little baby. Whatever, I'm thousands of miles away. Do the same thing, then you can mock me. : ) So Skype is officially my new best friend. It's pretty darn cool and free between users - hint, hint to anyone with a headset and free time.
After talking (and drying my eyes) I went to the dean's office of the Philosophy department. I spoke with a woman (can't remember her name) and she already knew who I was as soon as I said that I was having a hard time with classes. (Big Brother?) Kind of creepy. Anyway, she said that the timetables should have been up in May - some people obviously missed that memo. She told me that she would check in on the classes for me and get an email out by Tuesday. By the time I got back, I already received an email about my folklore class. It's been cancelled. Nice timing, right? Seriously. . . ridiculous. So I figure I might just take classes from the two main programs offered, even though they're not what I was hoping for. Looks like I'm going to learn a whole lot about the EU and the Transition.
Other than that, not a lot happened. We cleaned the flat as much as we could, I think it's cleaner now than when we first arrived, but that's really not saying much. : / Alright, that's enough. I'm going to take pictures tomorrow, so maybe I'll finally have something to put on here for you all. Love and miss you!!
