Well, it's 2am over here and the fecking tourists outside won't shut their traps. I'll lighten my statement with a :p. Yep, turns out Old Towne Estonia is much like the Las Vegas of Nevada; a huge tourist draw, huge and fun, but not necessarily reflective of the entire country. Prices are inflated within the old town, but eh, what to do since here is where the fun is, where the experiences are.

Or so we thought. Yesterday we went out on a tour of the country, via some help from our hostel *which is fabulous by the way. Estonia is so incredibly green, with grasses and just trees everywhere! Still no pics, but when we do get some you'll see photos of:
Circular graves-much of the area is covered with limestone, so if you were rich at one time you were buried above ground, an old fortress site, swamp bogs*not just for kids anymore, the sea! with a few pics of the nearby country village with a history of producing Estonia's captains. I'm in love with the sea, hopefully we'll get over there again in Latvia before we head inland. Not so much in love with the food, so we thought this would be a perfect chance to try the so called *McDonalds of Europe: Hesburger - that sucked too.

I can hear the karaoke bar downstairs, apparently people think they can sing all over the world.

And apparently I am a terrible grump right now. I am absolutely loving this trip!!! Not sure what we will see in Latvia and that makes it all the more interesting. Love, A
