And so it begins.......

Well its not been a great start if I'm being honest. So forgive this little rant, just need to get a few things of the chest. Camera shit itself before I even boarded the ferry to Denmark, then my trusty backpack thats been with me for a good few years picks day 1 of the journey to fall apart.....good one. Anyhoo, I did have my phone to take a few piccies and a touch of superior knot tying got the bag back into reasonable shape (at least until China...should be able to pick up a cheapy there).

Righto, the trip.....DENMARK.....1st stop. Caught the ferry from Harwich in Essex to Esbjerd, Denmark.....little tip for the youngsters, take a few quid of the local currency if arriving by boat. Turned out ok, about a half hour walk to the train station. Jumped on a train to Copenhagen, which turned out to be a fairly boring place....might be just that it was wet and cold....but only stayed a couple of nights before I opened my map and saw Gothenburg in Sweden....RESULT....haden't even thought of heading up there but bought a ticket straight away and jumped on another train.

Didn't I feel a goose later though after a few hours of searching and a couple of arguments with the strange locals.......turns out Batman must have left here friggen years ago......no one had a clue where he was.

Well it was still raining up there and really cold, so I thought the best place to seek appropriate shelter on the Saturday night was the clubs around the university grounds. Next thing I know its Monday and time to hit the road again.

Took the fast train this afternoon from Gothenburg to Stockholm......I have a good feel about this place, only arrived a couple of hours ago but great vibe. Gonna stay around here a few days, will let you know how it goes.

Forgive the quality of pictures I'm posting with this update.....was pretty fecked off about the camera I didn't really get into the picture taking mood. I chucked in a few other randon photos I had on the phone.
