Culture Night!!

That night was Culture Night!! That means that the whole city of Kobenhaven was open until really really late that night!! So me and my host family went into the city to take advantage of low prices and lots of fun!

We first ate at a cake shop called La Glace. It is the best cake i have ever tasted in my whole life!! I thought one peice wouldn't be enough but it filled me right up!! My host family and i ordered different cakes and then tried each others. Delicious!!

So after wonderful cake and hot coca, we started to explore the city. We went into churches and museums that aren't usually open. Then we went into a candy factory to explore that. There was a competition of shooting a bow and arrow to win a free lollipop. And ya, i kicked butt and won the free loillipop! Haha! (Thank you Papa!) It was delicious! Then my host brother and host Far tried but they didn't win... :(

Then we drove to the zoo which was open all night! We watched the lions get fed and walked around. The reindeer were right up against the fence so i got to touch a living reindeer!! Haha! And we also went and saw the new elephant house. Apparently, the old one was too small so they built them a bigger one. It was awesome! We had so much fun and i loved spending time with my host family. :)

After a fun, long night, my host brother Kristian and i were tuckered out!! :)
