Left early by train to Copenhagen via Lubeck. At Puttgarten, the train goes on the ferry. Yes! There are tracks on the ferry, and at Least 6 carriages of the train go on board the ferry. It was rainy, but the ferry ride was very smooth. We arrived in Copenhagen on time and caught the S-tog (surface train) subway to N..'s friend H..'s place on the outskirts of Copenhagen.

Her apartment is right next to an S-tog station, and the whole family, H.., her partner M.. and his two daughters and the dog, were there to greet us on arrival.

It was lunch time, ans they'd prepared a typical Danish lunch, with lots of smoked fish, seafood and lots of other tasty things. Good thing we hadn't eaten lunch on the train.
