Even when we go shopping we see beautiful buildings, doorways, street lights, and decorations on buildings. Today we went downtown to do some shopping ... our list was short, but when you need things you need things. The day was nice and bright, lots of sunshine and lots of cold air. The forecast is for snow tomorrow. We will wait and see if that is accurate or not.
Anyway, we rode the bus and then the subway downtown getting off at the Mustek station, the station that is at one end of Wencelas Square. We walked across one end of Wencelas Square to a short pedestrian street.
"The church with the beautiful mosaic is here, isn't it?" Nancy asked.
"Yes, it is just over there," I replied as I pointed in the direction of the church, Our Lady of the Snows.
"I really like that church," Nancy said and she began walking that direction. "Look," she said pointing, "look at that beautiful doorway. Take a picture of it."
I snapped a picture of the door. We both began looking down this short street. It is not over 100 feet in length.
"Just look at all
the doorways, and look at that street light," she said pointing, seemingly in several directions at once.
We both started a closer inspection of the buildings and I began taking pictures. And here they are for you to enjoy.
All these pictures were taken within 100 feet of each other.
