Well, where shall I start from?!?!

Prague was one of the cities that I longed wished to visit. Then, my dear husband decided to take me there to celebrate my 30th birthday. What a present... a romantic weekend in Prague! It was the most amazing present I could ever dream off.

Prague itself is beautiful; and I am highly temped to say that it is even more special than Paris….

The surroundings are just fantastic. Everywhere you look, there is a stunning piece of architecture! Not to mention the various cosy and outstanding restaurants and coffee places. Everything so well maintained and clean.

People are very polite and helpful! Prices are reasonable although I thought it would be way cheaper.

We stayed close to the Old Town, and I do recommend that you invest a bit of money to stay there. You can pretty much walk everywhere!

TIPS:

If you are looking for a fine dining place, go to L’angolo Restaurant Lounge on Dlouha 7 (Make a reservation on Tel. 224 829 355). Stunning sea food and an extensive wine list.

If you are looking for something more cheap and cheerful, head to daNico restaurant, which is 2 minutes away from L’angolo. Otherwise if you want to try a real Czech meal in the Old Town, pop in Restaurace U Supa on Celetna 22.

If you wish to visit the Jewish quarter, remember that they do not open on Saturdays! Ask for a student discount ticket (if you are a student, of course!)
Once there, pop in a coffee place called Premiera opposite to the Old New Synagogue in the main road, and ask for a pancake. You won't regret it.

Do try Czech beers!

Other than that, walk around and enjoy this breathtaking city!

Na shledanou!!
