I bought coach ticket from Prague, where my journeys often starts, to Zagreb. Capital of Croatia. I was many times on the Adriatic coast, but I have never been in mainland in central Croatia or Slavonia.
So, journey from Prague to Zagreb is very fine with Eurolines. Coach was empty and journey short.
Zagreb is nice city. I think it could be fine to have capital like this, its near hills of Medvednica and near see etc. Only problem in Zagreb is get accommodation for good price. I went to quarter Kaptol which is in Upper town. There is cathedral of Sv.Stepan and its largest church in Croatia. I continue to market Dolac, where you can buy everything. Through Tkalčičeva street to Sv.Marko church and back over Trg bana Jelačića (Jelačič square) to coach station. I continue to Daruvar , town on the borders of central Croatia and Slavonia. In this town are famous spa, but after war they are a litlle bit broken up. Next stop is another small town Bjelovar. In this area is big czech comunity.
I went from Zagreb to Siofok by fast train "Maestral" at 7.10 from Zagreb and i was on Balaton lake at 1330. I didnt like Siofok too much. Its like Hungarian Ibiza and I must say, that vulgar nights of Siofok are not form me. Otherwise is Balaton lake fine and i would like to visit again, but other place. I heard about Balatonfured and Tihany. My next stop is Budapest and its my last stop on this trip. Next time i have in plan visit Esztergom, Visegrad and one more Budapest :-)
