Veliko Tarnovo and Back to Sofia

I left Sofia for a few days to wait until i could get my Visa for romania and went to Veliko Tarnovo.. when i arrived there there was a group of 9 aussies and 1 kiwi.. all had just come from Turkey After anzac day.. soon as i got there iwnet and got some Vodka and juice with Paris and all the guys played a drinkin game. once we were all blind we went out to some bars and clubs then each staggered back to the hostel and some point durin the night.
the next day we all went on a massive 7 km hike to this monastry.. i was stuffed after about the first half hour but after several breaks we eventually all made it.. the monastry wasnt that great but after spendin a while there just hangin around and relaxin some of us decided to walk back along the highway and others went back the way we came.. i took the road i was not doin the path again.. after walkin along the road and havin massive trucks spped past ya an nilly bein blown off the road, and seein a lil puppy nill get cleaned up by the cars, a bus pulled over and gave us all a ride back into the town. we all went to this restarunt that we always ate at, that had a massive menu, was really cheap and served great food, then went and got icecream from the ice cream that never smiled... that night was a quite one and after a few drinks we went to bed fairly early..
i didnt really get to see a whole lot of the actual town i intended goin back on my way through from istanbul but nver did.. but from i did see it was nice
the next day i caught the train with Paris back to Sofia. for a few more days. got my visa organised the next day, met up with a few of the lads from Veliko and had a last supper, then left for Plovdiv
