We made our way from Ghent to Antwerp, Belgium which was a nice short 45 min drive. Found a great campsite on the opposite side of the Schelde river to the City. The weather was really nice and hot so we hopped on the bikes and rode over to the city. We had to go down a large elevator to a tunnel below the river then ride across to the other side. Uruguay again - and Brussels

Moving on from Buenos Aires actually meant going back to lovely Uruguay, to spend some last few days there with all the wonderful people I met here. Well, today I got my test back. I didn't do amazing, but I didn't fail. I got above average in the class so no complaints here. We also got a new teacher for class. I didn't realize that I would have to deal with 2 professors from the University of Florida. Anyway, this one isn't too bad. I'll get over it. Hello Everyone! It’s Monday night here in London and we’re relaxing after a long a busy weekend! I booked a weekend trip for us both to Bruges in Belgium as part of Robs birthday present. Brussels Cathedral

Sunday 8th June - Monday 9th June We arrived in Belgium about 4pm, we were about an hour late as there was an accident further ahead which meant we were rerouted to another station. This caused us a few issues in getting to our hotel. Once we were settled in we went into the tourist area and ha a look around. Here we got to see Grand Place, Marquis Pis (a small statue of a boy urinating, one wonders why it is so famous,) and the Brussels Cathedral. Now I Get Fries and Mayonnaise

I had never got the idea of putting mayonnaise on hot chips, it was always tomato sauce, but after getting some fries from the main square in Brugge with the different kind of mayonnaise to what we have in Australia it makes sense. Pretty tasty. My few days in Brugge were pretty good. June 12, 13, 2008 BRUSSELS, Belgium Another 3 hour drive and we are in Belgium. This is the first real “rain out “day we have had. ( double header tomorrow I guess ). Close Encounters of the Ranga Kind

Checked out of the hostel and put my stuff into storage at the station then went for a look at the cathedral. It is a big and spectacular building but it isnt decorated that impressively. Of course I had to climb to the top lol. Starting chatting with an English girl and Japanese girl while up there, the English girl was gorgeous :) Had a drink with them and will hopefully catch up with the English girl at the end of my trip.
