Woo Hoo - Day of Travel

Up early moring to finish packing up, finally finished the car jigsaw puzzle then went to Asda for the travel supplies then to the Crooked Glen for some lunch. After that we went to my brothers hoose to see The Bear, stayed there for half an hour playing with her and got cuddles and an Eilidh style kiss haha!!! Was sad saying goodbye to her, will miss her so much but her aunite Beni will get her doon to her hoose next week so I can see her on the webcam.
Went to Bucklyvie and got oor GaryCat out, his wee den inside the car is cool, he’s got all the comforts! Better off than me and Rob, his wee igloo bed is in there and his blankets, toys, bowls and litter tray, it’s a right wee home from home! Dunno if he was happy to be out or not, he was quiet!
Got down to Beni’’s work to say cheerio to her, well done me for not bawling my eyes out! Had visions of me arriving at the ferry terminal looking like a panda!
Booked ourselves in with no problems, half an hour later we were boarding.Thats some steep ramp up onto the upper car deck on the ferry, I seriously didn’t think the heavily loaded car was going to make it up there but it did, it was like the first climb on the Pepsi Max big one haha! We decided just to leave Garycat in the car overnight as there was no way on earth he was going in one of the pet kennels, I didn’t like them, too exposed and too uncomfortable, If Zak Dall had still been here I would never have put him in a kennel, he would have stayed in the car too, even if I had had to stay in it with him. We got GaryCat comfy, Rob had made a special grill at the back of the car to contain him and put a wee catflap in it so we had access to his litter tray and water etc so it was all sorted.
We went on board, checked in and got to our cabin which was way more braw than I expected, was nice and clean and a decent size. Dumped our gear then went out on deck to watch our ferry leave, I liked going under the Forth bridges, no done that for years! After that we just went in to the bar and had a few pints then later back to oor cabin to watch a dvd but I never seen any of it coz I fell asleep!!! First night in a proper bed for weeks and after 3 weeks on an airbed I thought I had died and went to bed heaven!!!! Was loving the movement of the boat and the boat sounds and it just sent me off to sleep.
