shitty french keyboqrd

Bon-fecking-jour!

Well here I am sat in an internet cafe in Epernay, France trying for the second time to write something about the last few days spent in Belgium - Bruges - and all I can think about is this maddeningly obtuse Gallic keyboard.
For a start they seem to have dispensed with the need for following the universally accepted QWERTY and have opted for AZERTY!
Believe me it only goes downhill from there.
For example - The auick bron fos junped over the lqxy frog%
I suppose we shouldn't expect too much from the country that gave us the Renault 4.

Anyway, Bruges was lovely, quiet, pretty and full of superb beer. I did however notice a few examples of artistic licence taken by the film 'In Bruges', especially in the final scene in the Belfry. I shall be writing to Colin Farrell to voice my displeasure.

A brief visit to Holland 'ahem' later and we're in the Champagne region to the east of Paris and as soon as I've finished this we're off to try some.
