What an amazing city Brussels is. This was a first stop on our European journey and we were blown away by its elegance and beautiful architecture. We spent a special day there and enjoyed our lunch in the heart of the city at a little place called Santorini Cafe. I highly recommend it.
I have found it more difficult than I had imagined to find the time to blog as I go along so I may have to revert to writing once I return home from this adventure. Better yet, I will probably make a serious attempt after I leave Paris when Jeanette and I will be on our own and not on an organized tour.
In the meantime I will place some randon photographs from the trip so far as soon as I get the time. I have already taken hundreds.
Austria had spectacular scenery. Venice was apecial. Assissi had special meaning and was spiritually uplifting.
As for Rome, it is difficult to find the words to adequately express my feelings about this magnificent ancient city except to say that there is none like it.
