Well boys have settled in now, and I think their body clocks have now reached Belgium time as they are much more settled. We have done a few things this week, first being the Sports Carnavel on Sunday, it was pretty much a fair with all sorts of activities for kids, like bouncy castle, bike riding, climbing, trampolining etc etc, so Joe Joe had an awesome time there as you could imagine!
We went shopping on Monday, and I spent too much money as I do when I go shopping so the last few days I have had to be good and not spend any money as we go to Venice tomorrow, and then onto Spain.
June, the kids and I went into a town called Gent yesterday, the day was the biggest mission ever.....first the ticket to the town on the train cost 40 euro for both June and I (kids are free) and we were told that this would get us on the trams, buses and site seeing too.....however, it turned out to just be a return fare - a very expensive one at that....then we got to the town after fluffing about trying to figure out
how the trams, and then we went to a castle that was built in the 12th century, it was pretty awesome and Joe Joe just loved it!! Trying to explain how old the castle was to him was not easy, so I just told him that it was older than granny and he looked amazed =) so then we finally start getting into the site seeing bizzo, and for the second time since we have been here, one of the tires on the push chair decided to explode in the middle of a busy square full of people, so we had to mission it all the way back to Leuven with a broken push chair! But got home and all was good!
Today we all went to this lake in another town, after having to pay 4 euro each to go to the lake (myself being in shock to pay to go to a lake), I thought that this lake must be some amazing lake, it was pretty mank and I didnt even swim cause the water looked green with muck!!! But James and Joe swam! It was really packed for a lake that you have to pay to
go to!!!
Anyways, that is what we have done this week, that I can remember anyways, and tomorrow morning we are off again to see more exciting things, so will update after that wee adventure.
Ciao for now.
