Today, we actually saw the sun! Our tour started in the morning and we toured the ancient sites including the Collisum, the Roman Forum, and the Arch of Titus. I think I have included a picture of the brown building where Mussolini worked. There is also a picture of us with our Roman guide, Barbara.

After Barbara left us in the ancient part of Rome, we made our way to the Spanish steps. Since we all had sore legs, we decided to eat on the second floor of a restaurant overlooking the Spanish Steps. While we were eating, a light rain began so we decided we were definitely not going to climb in the rain.

After a slow walk through the streets (after a gelato of course) we made our way back to our hotel for a short rest before we went out for our last dinner in Rome.

Ciao Frances and Bobby
