I am not sure what I am looking for in life, but Europe hasn't brought it and I am getting rather antsy. The closer that it gets to Monday, the less I want to be in Austria. The thought of being an Au Pair again, of dealing with these little kids... is the least appetizing thought imaginable right now. I have never been too into kids. Never cared for them, never wanted them. It may be the twenty year old me talking but I like self sufficient human beings. As of now, I am in Austria and getting ready to start my new job. And before anyone gets confused, thats Austria. Not Australia. Think Hitler, Mozart and Red Bull. I am in Tirol and it is probably my favorite place in the entire world, next to St. Augustine. I love the mentality of these people. They are so into being Tirolean but still so excited to meet an American. I am the second American in history to be a resident of Ötz. Originally I had moved to Europe to be an Au pair in Germany. Bayern was beautiful and the friends I made are absolutely unforgettable. But, after only a few months that felt like an eternity, I knew it was my time to move on.
