To summarise, rocked up at the HI hostel in klagenfurt after trekking through the town centre where teenage kids were throwing fireworks at anyone and everyone. The hostel as expected was devoid of travellers and i was informed by the receptionist that this town had the highest suicide rate in autria. I can kind of believe it after walking around the town to discover its excpetional blandness. Not the best start but it was the cheapest flight, good old ryanair.
