Background: For 715 years, from 1278 to 1993, Andorrans lived under a unique co-principality, ruled by French and Spanish leaders (from 1607 onward, the French chief of state and the Spanish bishop of Urgel). In 1993, this feudal system was modified with the titular heads of state retained, but the government transformed into a parliamentary democracy. Long isolated and impoverished, mountainous Andorra achieved considerable prosperity since World War II through its tourist industry. Many immigrants (legal and illegal) are attracted to the thriving economy with its lack of income taxes.

“May I see you in heaven, 30 minutes before the devil knows you’re dead.” Kevin (the guy who looks like Benjamin Franklin and sings at our work and is mine and Tara’s favorite local bar patron) is always full of good quotes, poems and songs. I’ve been noticing how much Irish men love any form of ethnic women. If you took a 200lb Japanese woman, with rat teeth, no tits, an inverted ass and scoliosis and they would claim she was the hottest woman on earth, because she’s ethnic. But to most of them, a California woman is ethnic as well. [View Full Entry]

Skiing in Andorra Europe » Andorra » El Serrat
My first weekend in Barcelona, I went with a group of 25 other people from my program to Andorra, a tiny country between Spain and France that is known for its cheap prices (because there are no taxes) and good skiing. One of the guys in our group set up the whole trip through his seņora, who is a travel agent, which was awesome because no one else had to do anything. And we got a great deal, transportation, 2 nights in a 3-star hotel, lift tickets, boots and boards, and breakfast and dinner for 2 days for only 130 Euro! [View Full Entry]

Andorra Ski Trip Europe » Andorra » El Serrat
Hey guys! So youīll never guess what I did this past weekend... I went skiing in Andorra in the Pyrenees Mountains! Skiing! In case you donīt know (I didnīt), Andorra is a tiny country in between France and Spain and it is all mountains. I think from the top of any mountain in Andorra you can see both of the other two countries and someone said that all of Andorra is about [View Full Entry]
