California Bound

Our last two days on Playa Guiones were spent surfing beautiful, big glassy waves! It was so refreshing to have soft, clean waves to ride and a manageable paddle out to the outside. The sunsets were absolutely stunning. I couldn't have asked for a better way to end my travels.

I am now back in California where the cool ocean air, with all of the wonderful smells, reminds me of where home is. Jackie returned to Cape Cod to live her last summer there before she too makes the California coast her home base!

As I gradually become reacquainted with my old life, some reflections that come to mind:

I am happiest when......

I wake and rest with sunrise and sunset
I find time in the day for a siesta
I can surf or swim in a warm ocean everyday
I read more and have less technology around me
I have less and need less of everything
I eat simple, whole foods (veggies, fruits, legumes) throughout my day
I walk more and drive less
I do more yoga for myself and teach less
I can make money go a long way
I wear less makeup
I am surrounded by high vibrating people from around the world
I have a loving home to return to.
